GOLF

As Scotland is the home of golf, you must really enjoy a round or two of great highland golf while you are here. The nearest golf course to us is under 30 minutes away – a real gem of a highland course at Kenmore, and we can arrange tee off times in advance there, as well as at Pitlochry(also superb) and Aberfeldy (recently extended to 18 holes). The world famous Rosemount Golf Course at Blairgowrie is only a little further.

Superb clear air, and excellent long light from spring to autumn allows two invigorating and stimulating rounds per day comfortably (for the fanatic.)

Costs for Golf vary dependant on weekday or weekend bookings. Midweek Golf is generally easier to book due to Club Competitions at the weekends. The green fees will surprise you with their modesty. Most courses offer day and round tickets. Numerous great value concession tickets are available for use across a number of fine courses throughout Perthshire.

Look out too for the forthcoming world class golf and resort development at nearby Taymouth Castle – due to be completed in the next two years.
